Jérôme,
It would be good if you were to post News informing us of every minor revision. I didn't even know about the replacement of v47 by v48 until I accidentally came across a mention of it today while browsing the Questions forum and reading through the thread "Am I too stupid for this program ?"! Even when I had already seen it minutes earlier I had trouble finding it again, so it was pure luck that I found it the first time.
On the Download page, you could make the sub-version number and the date of the revision stand out almost as much as the major revision number (following the word Download) does.
Also, the sub-version number (v47/v48) doesn't show up in the metadata for each .app file (including the app name) or in the name of the .zip file downloaded.
It might also be good to have an email list we could sign up for to receive such notices without having to check the web site frequently.
BTW, I didn't put this in the Suggestions forum because it's not a suggestion about the program itself, but about the web site. Is there a better place for posts like this?
P.S. Apparently, my bug report about the Edit menu is not applicable to v48. I wasted your time and mine with the confusion about versions.
