Type:  Bug Report

Last change:  Mon 31 Aug 2009, 19:58
State:  Closed Based on version:  0.9.1 (v23)
Level:  Low Fixed version:  1.1 (v55)

I tried to create a DVD Image with DVD Imager after I played around with myDVDEdit. DVD Imager crashes.

Further investigation showed me this message:
Quote:
The pad was 9299 for file VIDEO_TS.BUP
The pad was 16 for file VIDEO_TS.IFO
The pad was 967479 for file VTS_01_0.BUP
./mkisofs: Implementation botch. Video pad for file VTS_02_0.BUP is -1962879
./mkisofs: Either the *.IFO file is bad or you found a mkisofs bug.

I don't know what this means except that it looks to me, as if the file is corrupt.

Please note: The VIDEO_TS and the VTS_01 file's sizes could be different as I already did new experiments. I can upload new files and show you new sizes.

The VTS_02 and 03 files are the actual izes the files had when I did the test.
Code:
VIDEO_TS.BUP . . .  8192
VIDEO_TS.IFO . . .  8192
VTS_01_0.BUP . . . 18432
VTS_01_0.IFO . . . 18432
VTS_01_0.VOB .  18995200
VTS_01_1.VOB . . . 12288
VTS_02_0.BUP . . . 75776
VTS_02_0.IFO . . . 75776
VTS_02_1.VOB  1073709056
VTS_02_2.VOB . 926570496
VTS_03_0.BUP . . . 59392
VTS_03_0.IFO . . . 59392
VTS_03_1.VOB .1073709056
VTS_03_2.VOB .1073709056
VTS_03_3.VOB . 401534976

I might have found the reason!

I didn't set all available titles into the table. I just wanted to have VTS 2 and VTS 3. The title from VTS 1 is unneeded. So I didn't assign it a titlenumber.

When I assigned a number, It worked. At least with V0.9. I will now test with V1.0

If the problem is here, maybe I should add a warning if unreferenced titles are found

I think, that's a good idea.
