A small thing, but sharing anyway (hopefully not a duplicate on this forum):
Suppose you are creating a DVD with 4 clips, and you want the disc to play all clips without going to a menu after each clip. Users of Roxio Toast may find that the “Continuous Play” checkbox facilitates this. But that also makes the disc loop: after the last clip, it returns to the first clip again, which you may not want.
With MyDVDEdit, I can alter the behaviour of the disc to play all clips once, by changing the post command of the last clip. It is a minor change, but it wouldn’t be possible with just Toast.
By changing the post command of VTS 4 to return to the menu (Pgc 1 in my example), instead of Title 1 (Pgc 2 in my example), I have changed the behaviour of the disc to something that works better for me.
It seems to work fine, but perhaps I’m doing it all wrong?
One could say “get a better authoring program”, but Scenarist is a bit expensive, and that is probably the only professional DVD authoring program with all the bells and whistles these days.
